IonGen System - Blanket Weed Control

This complete IonGen™ System is an electronic algae controller for Ponds, Pondless® Waterfalls, and other decorative water features (*please note potential problems below)

The IonGen™ System reduces unsightly string algae and helps reduce pond maintenance without chemicals. A microprocessor inside the IonGen™ System's Control Panel causes the outermost atoms of the metal IonGen™ Probe to lose an electron, creating a positive ion. The positive ion attempts to flow from one probe bar to the other and then transported into the water column is then swept away by the flow of water where the ion can begin to treat the water and reduce algae.

The IonGen™ Probe uses reverse polarity to reduce scale and debris build-up on the IonGen™ Probe's bars. The metal alloys in the IonGen™ Probe have gone through tests to produce maximum results.

The IonGen™ System, when used according to the manufacturer's guidelines, is suitable for use with fish and plants.

You can buy the whole boxed kit, everything you need, or go for the IonGen System "Control Panel & Probe & Transformer" equipment that is 100% ready for your water feature, whether that's a pond or pondless water feature.

They included: a 12v transformer for the UK market and the probe and control panel. Plug it in and set the number to the correct level. 

Installation method with this set-up. Place the probe into the moving water (skimmers, bio falls or Pump vaults)! And you're good to go. 

Potential problems in fish or wildlife ponds 

More suitable for water features with no fish or aquatic wildlife.

Solution for pond owners 

DO NOT LEAVE THIS UNIT SWITCHED ON! ONLY USE IT IF YOU HAVE BLANKET WEED GROWTH- a chemical-based product that stops weed growth and kills aquatic life if you operate this in a closed system.  

It's excellent if you read and follow the instructions.
