Next, position the AquaBasin carefully in the hole, ensuring the top of the basin is below the height of the garden soil; you want the basin to be in the ground. Digging a little deeper is more accessible than raising the soil level around the basin. Ensure the AquaBasin is level from side to side and front to back. If necessary, use gravel or screening material to create a level base. Secure it in place by backfilling loose fill soil or pea gravel around the edges.
